Why do you believe in diversity and inclusion?
My 25 years with Hatch have provided me with the privilege of working with so many amazing people from all kinds of backgrounds and my success in management is entirely based on celebrating the strengths of our diverse teams and team players.
What do you think we need to do as individuals to improve inclusivity?
Starting with Hatch’s Manifesto Driven Leadership (MDL) as a template, we can grow our appreciation of others by employing empathy. It allows us to leverage the best of ourselves and encourages and motivates the best in others when they feel safe and/or valued as a person and as a professional.
What does positive change mean to you?
Always being open to be better than yesterday (humility) and looking for opportunities to implement lessons learned with new and existing clients.
What do you think are the toughest challenges facing our clients?
In many of our client operations one of their biggest challenges is finding quality employees to support their operations, especially in engineering.
What are you most proud of?
I am very proud of my family and our CA&E team across this region and the globe.
What do you like most about working at Hatch? How do you think the Hatch culture is different from other companies?
What I like most about working at Hatch is engaging with amazing people, having access to SMEs in multiple sectors and working in our flat connected organization! MDL material is uniquely Hatch and so applicable to all we do and who we are.
